From what I read of other people's diary. I started to try to practice while driving. I found it work quite good. Other than the benefit of saving time in practicing, this can also prevent me from dozing during long drive. I hardly want to drive for two hours to visit my mom when my husband is not around because I tend to doze. But this time, I am doing great on both ways. I still have both hands on the wheel. The movement is on the neck and some constraction on the 肩胛骨 and my right leg kept on moving up and down. Don't worry. I am driving with my left leg due to the polio on right leg. oh, yes, also the facial movement. If people see me, they might think I have some kind of mental problem.

After having big meal with mom and three brother's family, I told them how good this gong is. Guess what? All of us adults went to the third floor and start practicing. I asked them to do at least for half an hour and after that, we exchanged the ideas. All felt good. I gave one book to my sister-in-law. One brother practiced before but got scared during spinning. After heard all the miracles on me and my mother-in-law, he is going to start again. Hope everyone will start.

I did not sleep good on Saturday night. Took the whole morning stick my head on the dragon eye tree to fix the problem. As said, should try not to create the problem or will need to spend so much time to fix it.

After the tough walking outside tonight, I came into the the house and this time lied on the marble floor. Quite smart, wooden floor will be too hot. After the steching on the back, I sat up and was going to start with the foot massage. Gosh, my feet were so dirty, hope I don't need to touch it. I didn't and gave it a big laugh.

Pratice twice daily.. this is how my husband describe it: 夭壽認真(台語). :hammer:

Morning:
I am still sitting on the corner of the house and sniffing the red leaf plant. Started to have the fingers pressing the center line of body. From the bottom and then cross the stomach, chest, neck, head, then to the back till the farthest place where I can reach. Hope it is fixing the curved spine now. I always feel I am so lucky to know about this gong and have a private doctor taking care of me if I behave good.

Started to swim again. There is a very good SPA there. I read it somewhere that it's not a good idea to be in the SPA once we practice this gong. But it is too good to skip. I am careful in not having the water stream to spray on my 百會穴 directly. After the relaxing time, continue with the 20 minutes swim.

Evening:
After the movement in the yard, I came back to the house and this time I was brought to sit on the chair of my desk. This is another suprise spot. A good place to feel the breeze from the window and can smell the fragrant of the flower. I was sitting on the chair sideways and then leaning all the way back and lie on the chair on my back. This is an excellent strech on my sore neck. The hard part is to sit up from there. The next action is sit strate, then use the back support of the wooden chair to do the message on the neck.. boy, that was good.. phone rang and I had to stop. I am going to continue now.

Saturday morning:
Practiced 2.5 hours. Walked into the sun and turns my palm into the sun to get the energy. Started to work on my right leg. I am moved. This is the part I almost want to give up. I only wish it won't get worse. I was sitting down on the lawn and both hands started doing the massage on the whole leg by pressing with the finger nails. The whole leg was full of the finger nail prints afterwards.

Went to pick up a college friend who is now teaching in a college in MaDou. We exchanged the experiences of Buddhism and the self developed gong. He practiced few minutes in the yard and got one book from me. Hope he'll find this exercise worth doing.

Went to Chi-Gu beach in the late afternoon. I tried to let the Chi to lead the way. It was ok until I reached an area where the sand might be eaten away by the sea when the tide is higher. I was brought to the edge over and over and that scared me. I had to walk away with my own will. Started to rain and the Qi was smart enough to bring me back to the car with good route.

Sunday:
Went to San Yi with the hiking club. We were suppose to be surrounded by the 油桐花, but only saw three flowers on the ground. I am not sure if the rain is the only reason or if the flower season is over. Anyways, when we reached the top, it is an acacia 相思樹 forest, I tried a little bit and was brought to close to one tree, then lean on it. Too many people there, I had to stop.

pracaticed again at night and I almost fell asleep. Too tired.

Monday morning:
Got the energy from the sun again by turning the body around, then leaned my head on the dragon eye tree. Sat on the lawn, turn my eye balls around, then started massaging my right leg.

I can start the Qi status almost anytime now. But, I do know the limit of using it.

The best time for practicing is in the early morning. I'll try to go to bed earlier and practice longer in the mornings. Spent quite a while facing the early morning sun. My eyes was wide open and looked around. I know these are all getting the Qi from nature.

Started to use all ways to try to open the main pressure points now. Use the thumb knob to hit the center of head 百會, between the eyebrows 印堂, center of palm 勞宮 and the sole of foot 湧泉.

Walked on the river bank after work today. The sun has just set and I saw the mostly soft blue and pink color of the sky with silver half moon and the bright evening star, Venus 金星?. Very peaceful. I looked around slowly and bending head back and forth - under the Qi status.

I kept my promise and got up early this morning. Started from 5:45 am till 7:30. The sun was up, the air is fresh due to the rain last night. Very beautiful morning.

Started with getting the energy from the sun, exercised the eye ball. Then lied on the ground. I had to use the mattress as the ground is still wet. Started the routine yoga action, eyeball movement, foot massage and worked on my right leg. I also noticed my ten fingers are quite powerful at Qi status. Used the ten fingers to tap the body all over. Interesting thing is if one hand get tired, the other one will continue, sometimes working together.

Noticed my mother in law is attaching her hand on the dragon eye tree today. She always thinks I move around with my own will. She finally has some other actions today, but she needs to close the practice to go to the field. A busy 89 year old lady.

Practiced in the balcony tonight.
It's a good place for the summer night. Much less mosquitos, wind blows and under the moon light. Leaned on the fence for a while with some actions. I think I danced a little but then changed to some circulations. I would like to dance more..

Introduced this gong to two colleagues today at lunch time.

Went to yellow mountain of China.
I was able to practice either once or twice daily, mainly in the hotel beds. It was a tough hike on the endless steps. After the walk from 9 am to 6 pm and got up to watch the sunrise at 5 a.m. My legs were ok and didn't really feel sour. The praactice of gong helped.

Other than in the hotel, I was able to use any chances, any short period of times to initiate the Qi status, in the airport, in the plane, in the bus, in the park, etc. Alrhough it was mainly in the air-conditioned room, but I did feel good afterwards. I remember my eyes opened wide when looked out of the window of the airplane.

Used spare time to read the book of "Qi Gong and Spirit". It gave the explanation of lots of previous experiences I had. Such as two teachers curing people through Qi massage and looking into the eyes. Both do not charge any from the patients. The fortune teller tells people about their previous and future life, and the buddhism philosophy I've learned before, etc. The start of this practice not only improves my health but is leading me in understanding the real meaning of life. I'll keep on.

I think I played too hard. Went to Her Hwan north peak on Saturday. We saw great view but it was cold and windy. Took the whole Sunday to fix my sore leg, nose allergy problems and maybe some cold. I shouldn't build up too much bad Qi and waited to be fixed.

Notes for these days:
I was able to try to help someone else. During the Yellow mountain trip, my husband got sore legs. After my own practice, I had the intention of helping him. I moved to his bed (by Qi) and started doing the massage on his legs and feet. But it hurt him too much and he had to call off. I am not a lady with strong muscle and I do not know the pressure point well, but I was able to do it like a professional and hurt him. Well, it didn't last long as he couldn't stand it, so I stopped.

I was too careless in wearing enough clothes in this hot summer day morning. Did not have the problem for a long time and I thought it's cured and will not happen during my practice. I had this nose allergy problem again one morning and bothered me for more than four days. Felt dizzy and sniffing all the time.

Worked on my both legs for more than one hour this morning in the yard from 6 a.m. Rubbing, massaging, slapping, pinching, etc. The air was fresh and the grass was green. Very comfortable. Interesting part is both hands are mostly working on the symmetric points on both legs. I believe my rough skin on legs and face are getting better. Quite a benefit. and hope my right leg will get stronger and stronger. I never cherished so much and spent so much time on my right leg before!

I like the experience of letting Qi to bring me during walking as I know the best program will be created. Went swimming this morning. I usually walk in the pool after swimming. This time, I let the Qi to guide me. It was a good experience. Very gentle movement of hands and legs, almost like dancing. My hands were waving in the water and I moved forward by lifting the legs to different height. Small steps during backward walking. I didn’t have enough time to enjoy longer and needed to hurry for work. Will leave more time for this part.

The best action I am doing during driving is facial movement. It’s safe. This can be initiated easily by starting the movement intentionally. The rest is left to the Qi. There are many benefits in this. First of all, this is the best way of keeping me awake. Secondly, I am getting the exercise of the facial muscle. It also includes the mouth, nose, ear, eyes, etc also the neck.

For the whole week, I fell asleep on the floor while practicing at night. I am still not recovered from the hike yet and I think I do have cold. The rain has made the air a lot cooler and fresh. I am trying my best to enjoy the weather but need to wear enough clothes so that the allergy won't bother me again.

It's weekend and it's raining. I got no place to go and thus did enough practice in the car port today. I can hear the raindrop better and see the greens in the yard. This is a good replacement for afternoon nap. The difference is I do feel better after the practice. Lots of massage on my right leg and the foot massage. Wish more people get to know this to improve the health.

Fell asleep again at night.
Morning is a much better time to practice. I should get up earlier so that I can practice more in the morning.

It is almost a routine now. Did very slow neck and waist moving. Backwards, forward, right and left. I did feel quite good afterwards. Continue with the foot massage and then working on my right leg. Started to slap on the sole, trying to wake the long sleeping nerve up.

The neck bending & stretching during lunch hour is great. I am able to relieve the body in the middle of the day so that there won’t be too much bad Qi built when the day is over. I also found the sore problem on the blade bone 肩胛骨 has improved a lot. Still need to figure out how to reduce the sore neck problem during work.

Managed to get up earlier for practicing these days. The weather is just great. Soft sun rays and cooler. I am always put facing the sunlight and sometimes on my back. I had the action of dusting off from head and arms and hands these days. It's kind of interesting. Is it due to the long raining days?

Doing my best to introduce this gong to as many friends as possible. Hope more people will get benefit from it. The reading of many people's diaries has also become my daily routine. Get to learn some from each other and knows that there are someone out there doing the same thing as you. We are not alone.

One special feature is the foot massage. The nose allergy is been my long term problem for over 15 years after returning to Taiwan from US. It's been working on the right big toes 大拇指 in the mornings for over a week. I checked the foot massage book and know it is the position to cure the nose. There has been a small hard spot 硬塊there for a long time. Due to the hard work these days, the spot became a blister 水泡. My finger nail then broke the blister and the liquid came out, not through my own will. This continues for over a week. I had to have a tissue ready to wipe off the stuff came out. Looks like the wound is getting better every day and I hope the allergy problem will somehow be cured.. That will be a real blessing.

The four days long break is over. I did manage not to eat too much and parctice every day. Other than went to the beach, didn't really do any outdoor activities. I was expecting at least one canyoneering trip. Which is sad. Still tend to fall asleep at night on the floor. That is good, though. Since my head was on the floor and it's doing some curing during my sleep. :hammer: When I woke up at midnight, I'll climb back to the bed and continue the sleep. Imagine I used to have to take the sleeping pill!

Always wake up before six and sometimes can catch the sun rise. The massage on my foot toe continues and the blister is getting better and better. I also noticed I am getting some bruise on my right leg. Am I working too hard?

Had high school friend reunion and invited a friend to come over to my house. Introduced her about this gong. She read the book and did some practice. Hope she will continue.

Some interesting points:
Got real tired before cooking the lunch. Went to the living room and practiced for 10 minutes. The stretching on the neck worked great. I also tried during the concert. The sitting position was fixed at the most comfortable way.

Many dusting off actions on the face lately. I also always fall asleep during practicing at night. In stead of got back to the bed, I slept on the floor for the whole night last night and felt great the second morning. I think all of these actions were doing some kind of curing of my head, headache problem.

Received ten books ordered and will give it to the lucky people who are willing to practice.

It's suppose to be very hot but we are getting unusual rain in southern Taiwan this year. It's often that we can see the blue sky and beautiful clouds.

Practiced again last night and I was wide awake when it was time for bed. Why not practice in bed? So I did and it was quite soothing. It started to rain and it's always my favorite to listen to the rain and enjoy the breeze from the window. Struggle for a while if I should get up to read by the window, but the practicing was good, too. Ended up with more practicing and finally fell asleep.

The wind this morning was great, too. The world we see while lieing on the ground is different. The Qi will always remind me to look at the beautiful sky, leaves, flowers, etc. Sometimes I'll be afraid of gettig the droppings from the bird while lieing. But so far so good. Did the regular stretching of neck, then the foot massage and working on my right leg. The wound on my foot toe is turned into the hard lump again. Hope my nose allergy problem is improved. Ready for another beautiful day!! Thanks to this self development gong.

Had to go home earlier yesterday to practice because I found my left back bone hurting. I didn't do anything other than sleeping and swimming. I am not sure why this happens. Practiced in the balcony and watched the sunset at the same time. Did more this morning and with some good stretching on the back. I did feel much better this morning. It is interesting that I found trusted this so much and the first thing I will do is to practice when I don't feel good.

I am slowly training myself not to build up too much strength during work. Although all I do at work is meetings and sitting in front of computer, I do get sore neck, sore back by the end of the week. I try to relax the neck and back even during work. It helps.

Glad to see people are still praacticing hard in this hot summer day. Me, too. I am being good.

Took two days to cure the headache problem earlier this week. I was sitting in a no air-conditioned car for a two-hours drive after playing in the southern Taiwan creek.

I almost do not need to use the air-condition at night these days. Just open the window wide and let the cooler air comes in. I think this is one of the benefit from the practice of this gong.

Introduced to another friend when she came visiting yesterday. She bought the book a while ago but was afraid of the spinning. I watched her practicing and gave her some advice. Hope she will continue.

Another friend came by today before we went to qi Gu for kayaking. She is also the friend I tried to talk her into this for a while. She told me she is practicing now and said her hands is tapping the right tummy these days. She doesn't know what's wrong with the tummy but this is the beauty of this gong. It can detect the disease for you.

I practice for one or two hours in the morning. It feels like heaven to lie on the grass and look at the sky, listen to the birds.

5:45 – 6:45 a.m.
It rained quiet a lot last night. The sky and grass is so pretty this morning. Sat on the lawn for quite a while and then bent forward softly and a little bit tilt to the right. Maybe it’s starting the cure my curved spine? Actually the practice has helped me to cope with the hot weather much better as I am getting up earlier and go outside to be with nature. The body is being nourished by the sun, wind, tree and grass.

Had to stop since I promised a friend to meet in the swimming pool. It’s always a struggle of cutting it short.

I am doing better in relaxing the body during work now.

I am continuing the practice but got lazy in writing.

Had a chorus performance on Sunday night. Tried to download all the pictures after got home. Passed midnight and I was still wide awake. I know I will have trouble sleeping past 12. But after learning this gong, my sleeping improved a lot and did not need to take the sleeping pill. I had faith this time, too. But time went by and I was still awake, maybe got too excited after the performance? Anyways, I tried to relax myself and went into the qi status. There were some interesting movement to try to put me to sleep.. close the eyes real hard, shake the heads, and even snore.. I couldn't help laughting. It's so cute. It didn't work. I even got up and read some. Turns out I did not fall asleep for the whole night at all. But maybe it is because I was in the Qi status for quite a while, I didn't feel too tired the second day and had a great sleep the second night. phew!!
